CURRICULUM: WEEK OF MAY 18th

May 18, 2025

When you begin learning Jiu-Jitsu, many students find they have an incredible sense of motivation due to the excitement of learning a new skill. This initial boost feels incredibly rewarding and pushes many to embrace their training journey. Over time, though, this motivation will fade, and the highs and lows of training set in, and that is when motivation must be replaced with consistency. Training two or three times a week over the years will always put you farther ahead than training as hard as possible for a few months.

Motivation comes and goes, but staying consistent along your journey will enable you to train for life. Remember, a black belt is simply a white belt that never gave up!
