At Otomi Martial Arts/Caio Terra BJJ, we love seeing new faces step onto the mats and discover the incredible benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Today, we are thrilled to welcome Diane Kamm as she embarks on her BJJ journey with us through our free trial program!
Diane’s first class was nothing short of inspiring. As she joined our young adult group, she quickly embraced the experience, surprising herself and others with her natural ability, strength, and eagerness to learn. With every movement, her confidence grew, and before long, she was smiling and enjoying the lesson. Her instructors were incredibly impressed by her determination and adaptability, and it was clear that Diane had found something truly special in BJJ.
Her father, John, was equally excited to witness his daughter’s enthusiasm. Reflecting on their first experience at Otomi Martial Arts, he shared:
“This place is amazing. Gonzo Sensei is top notch. He is professional but compassionate. My kid never liked anything I introduced her to. Ballet, soccer, gun range— all duds. But after a first lesson at Otomi, she wants to go back! She already learned how to repel an attacker. Good stuff!”
