What a day for João Martins!
We’re beyond excited to celebrate João’s outstanding performance at the Tap Cancer Out tournament today in Denver, Colorado. Competing in the black belt division, João wasted no time making his mark—finishing both of his matches with lightning-fast triangle submissions. In total, he spent just around four minutes on the mat to secure his victories, proving once again why he’s such an incredible talent and technician.
João, who is visiting us from the Marangoni Academy in São Paulo, Brazil, has quickly become a valued member of our Otomi Martial Arts / Caio Terra Association family. His work ethic, positive energy, and high-level skill make him an inspiring presence on and off the mats.
