Welcoming Connie Hobart to the Mats!

February 19, 2025

At Otomi Martial Arts/Caio Terra BJJ, we believe that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a sport—it’s a family journey, a path of growth, and a way to strengthen bonds both on and off the mats. Today, we are thrilled to officially welcome Connie Hobart to the training floor!

Connie has always been an incredible supporter of her children’s BJJ journey, stepping up in every way to help them succeed. Whether assisting them in practicing moves at home or being a constant presence at the academy, she has exemplified what it means to be a dedicated BJJ mom. Now, she’s taking the next step—putting on the gi herself and joining her kids on the mats. We couldn’t be more excited to see her embracing this journey firsthand!

There’s something truly special about parents and children training together. Jiu-Jitsu is not just about learning techniques; it’s about developing resilience, discipline, and confidence—all while creating unforgettable family moments. Watching Connie transition from a supportive mom to an active participant is a beautiful reminder of the power of shared experiences. The lessons learned, the encouragement exchanged, and the victories—big and small—become even more meaningful when they’re achieved together.

If you’ve ever wondered whether BJJ might be right for you, now is the perfect time to take that first step. Our 15-year anniversary celebration means we’re offering the best membership deals and even free gear upon enrollment! There’s never been a better moment to start your own journey, just like Connie.

Join us on the mats and experience the incredible benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—both individually and as a family. Call or text us today to take advantage of our anniversary specials and begin your own adventure at Otomi Martial Arts/Caio Terra BJJ!
